Managing the County Jail: Overseeing operations to maintain security and uphold the law within the county’s jurisdiction.
Law Enforcement Authority: Has the authority to apprehend individuals charged with felonies or breaches of peace, contributing to our community’s safety.
Serving Justice: Diligently serving warrants and processing legal documents as ordered by the District Court.
Financial Integrity: Accountable for all fees received by the Sheriff’s Office, ensuring they are deposited daily with the County Treasurer for transparency and accountability.
Guided by Oversight: Relies on the Office of the State Auditor and Inspector for oversight, ensuring the highest standards of law enforcement practices.
